Is this cheaper than a guard?

For quiet overnight hours, usually yes. Monitoring covers the hours where nothing normally happens, and guard hours go where a person genuinely adds value.

Does it work with my existing cameras?

It works best with Verkada, which is what we install and maintain. For other systems, we'll assess what you have and tell you honestly whether it can be monitored properly.

What happens to false alarms?

An operator verifies every event on video, so police are only called for real ones.

Can we combine guards and monitoring?

That hybrid model is what most clients end up with: security guards on site during active hours, operators watching the rest of the time.

A guard watching, without a guard on site.

KingsGuard Security Inc. is an Ontario security company based in Kitchener, Ontario. Live operators watch your Verkada cameras while the site is armed. AI detects, humans verify, talk-down speakers deter, and police or a patrol is dispatched when it's real.

Cut guard hours without cutting coverage

Most sites don't need a person walking through an empty building at 3 a.m. They need someone to notice the moment something changes, and to act on it. That is what remote monitoring does: full coverage of the quiet hours, at a fraction of the cost of the shifts it replaces. Pair it with on-site security guards during active hours and you get the hybrid model we recommend to almost every client.

Dispatch

01
AI detects
Camera analytics flag a person or vehicle where there shouldn't be one while the site is armed.
02
A human verifies
A live operator opens the camera and confirms what is actually happening before anything else happens.
03
Talk-down deters
The operator speaks through an on-site speaker. Most intruders leave the moment they realise someone is watching.
04
Response is dispatched
If they stay, police or a mobile patrol is dispatched with a verified description of what is happening.
